DP joins protesters in Himara

For the Democratic Party, the government is trying to shift attention away from the Tahiri case.

“Himara is an alibi today to hide Tahiri, who is keeping the Prime Minister hostage. No matter how much they try to attack Himara and others to hide their involvement in crime, it will be impossible. The popular revolt will sweep them out”, said Flamur Noka, the Democratic Party MP.

Flamur Noka accused the government of demolishing the buildings in Himara selectively.

“They have demolished hundred year old buildings with property titles, but they don’t demolish the objects owned by Socialist Party members. There is no alibi that can save this party from the involvement in crime”, the DP leader said.

The Vlore Court issued a verdict for suspending the demolishing operation. The Authorities are waiting for the next court verdict, to start demolishing the remaining buildings and make way for the urban qualification.
