The economic situation has been the focus of today’s parliamentary works
in Albania, with the Democratic Party accusing the government of
creating a bad economic situation.
The Democratic Party vice leader, Edmond Spaho, said that the government is accusing the former government for everything. He accused the Prime Minister of lying about reforms and achievements, and that the final WB report for the Doing Business climate showed that Albania has dropped with 35 spots.
Prime Minister Rama said the Albania has dropped in ranks because of the blocked construction permits, and that the economic growth will be 2.7%.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha accused Rama of not registering 25 travels abroad. He accused Rama of helping the stealing of 100 million EUR with oil, and helping his friends win construction bids.
Berisha said that the newly appointed MP of the Albanian Parliament, Eduard Ndocaj, has bought his mandate with 500.000 USD.
Berisha accused Rama of making the business climate worse, making 40 cell phone companies leave the country.
