The Democratic Party claims the Prime Minister has chosen a corruptive
plan for the new stadium, which, according to the DP, will have more
commercial spaces than stadium spaces.
The DP says the Italian architect, Marco Casamonti, has been sentenced for corruption for his constructions in Firenze.
“Known in Albania for building concrete towers with the support of Edi Rama, such as the 24-story building besides the Supreme Court, member of the “Skenderbej” square project in 2008, which chose the project f Anri Sala and of the Belgian firm of Linda Rama’s daughter, a project that Veliaj will build soon to serve to his chief. This architect is partner with Alban Eftimi of Atelier 4, client of Edi Rama who received 70% of the municipality projects”, said the spokesperson for the Democratic Party, Ina Zhupa.
“To make way for this corruptive project, Edi Rama was forced change the title of that property, because it was protected as a sportive terrain. Edi Rama changed it with a government decision. Then he planted concrete towers and shops with no tranpsarency”, Zhupa said.
