DP accuses for increased energy price

Enno Bozdo, former Deputy Minister of Energy, underlined that the energy
price increase is a direct consequence of the CEZ scandal.

“The energy price wouldn’t have increased if the government didn’t pardon 500 million EUR of unpaid bills to the Albanian government. There would be no price increase if the government wouldn’t have given up from the 3 billion USD compensation for the damage caused by CEZ to the Albanian government”, Bozdo declared.

“The price has increased because the government is unable to fight the energy theft. The energy bills are overcharged for businesses, and have been returned as trophies. The Albanian people cannot and should not accept this price increase”, Bozdo declared.
