Today’s session of the Commission for Replacements at the State Police
has taken another course this Wednesday, when the opposition has
introduced a video of the killing of Flamur Plisi, the Albanian who
kidnapped a bus in Greece in 1999. The General Chief of Police, Artan
Didi, was accused of being involved in the killing of an innocent
passenger when the Albanian police intervened to neutralize the
kidnapper.
The Democratic Party Parliament Member, Flamur Noka, declared that the Democratic Party will present this evidence in the Prosecution. He said that the images show a lack of professionalism by the police that was part in that attack.
The majority left the Commission earlier, since the final report had not been introduced, as they had previously agreed.
In a press conference, the Socialist Party Parliament Member, Taulant Balla, declared that the absence of a final report shows that the opposition, which was the one requesting this Commission, has no evidence for the accusations raised against the government for the replacement in the State Police.
