In today’s meeting of the Democratic Party held behind closed doors,
Eduard Selami raised the question if now their party was in conflict
with the international community.

Basha explained why the opposition insists for the formula of “reserved posts”, by saying that Donald Lu had sent an e-mail with five options, one of which was the one with the reserved posts. DP had agree for this and communicated it to the SP, according to Basha.

Basha didn’t speak for the media after the group meeting, but Sali Berisha said that the opposition voted for the variant suggested by the international community, and everything else is a lie.

Lulzim Basha has also promised to post the correspondence with the US Ambassador, with Nuland and the Councilor of Merkel.

No Democratic Party MP has declared that he might vote a non-consensual draft, but the opposition has raised pressure anyway.

“If a single Parliament Member votes a draft that has no consensus, the DP will have a total confrontation, even mandates will be burned until free and fair elections”, the Democratic Party leader declared.

Federica Mogherini said this Sunday that every MP is responsible for voting the reform. The opposition leader, said that Mogherini’s declaration was written in Tirana. As for the Ambassador Romana Vlahutin, Basha said she is clearly on the side of the government.
