The Democratic Party has accepted the new draft agreement brought by
foreign ambassadors, the proposition coming after the failed agreement
of yesterday.
This draft will pass to the Special Commission of the Justice Reform for approval, and then to Parliament for voting.
The new agreement was reached after long hours of negotiations between the DP leader, Lulzim Basha and the US and EU Ambassadors, Donald Lu and Romana Vlahutin.
The Parliament Speaker reacted and said this agreement is a sign of maturity and unification. He thanked Prime Minister Rama, the opposition leader, both ambassadors and everyone who has contributed for this agreement.
He said that the procedures in Parliament should continue as soon as possible: “Let’s formalize the process with an unanimous vote in Parliament”, Meta says.
