Donate a flower for one life

The Albanian Prime Minister greeted this initiative by donating a flower to his wife and other colleagues.

“I came here to express my appreciation for the fine employees of the Tirana Municipality, whom I greeted with flowers today. The funds will go to sick people”, the Prime Minister declared.

Ambassador Alexander Arvizu has supported this initiative, underlining once again the significance of women in a developed society.

“The fight to achieve full rights of girls and women is on. The more success a society has to integrate women in the daily life and employment, the more successful that country will be. I want to congratulate all the people who participated in this initiative, turning it into a success. YWCA and Garden Line are partners in this initiative”, Arvizu declared.

“I hope that we have done everything for our community to be more sensitive on breast cancer. This is a problem that concerns us all”, says Kristina Jorgaqi, President of the YWCA.

Sequi meets Albanian MPs

The EU Ambassador to Tirana, Ettore Sequi, started this day with the female MPs, focusing on their successful model and the rights that they have.

“I invited you as the model of successful women. You have endured various difficulties to show that you have values. You have overcome challenges such as discrimination. You victories will be complete when they will not be only yours. In my mind come things like domestic violence or women who are deprived from many things in life. Your battle is big, because you are the voice of women that are not heard”, Sequi declared.
