Domestic product prices dropped

Seasonal domestic products flooded markets and stopped import. According
to vendors, 90% of what the market has now comes from Albanian farmers,
and this has reduced prices.

“Prices have dropped. Tomatoes dropped with 50%, but however, the demand has not increased. The buying power is even lower, according to them”.

“Consumption has dropped with 20%. It is not like before”, one vendor says.

“We don’t have as many people that buy here now”, another one adds.

Bank of Albania declared that the Albanian citizens have reduced consumption and this deepens the crisis, a tendency that has continued even during these months.
