Neurologist Mentor Petrela declared that the health conditions of the
pretender to the Royal Throne, Leka Zog I, have improved and the patient
was hospitalized at Tirana’s Hospital no. 5.
Leka Zogu was visited by many Albanian authorities during the day, also by the Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who expressed his optimism that Leka Zogu I would be better.
The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, visited Leka in the afternoon and wished him a quick recovery.
Leka Zog I is having a long battle with diseases of the respiratory apparatus and acute anorexia. He has avoided public appearances due to the health conditions, and has been represented by his son, Prince Leka.
