Dismantling made with government order

Pinari’s defending lawyers declared that the Prosecution charges and life sentence request are tendentious.

According to Pinari’s defending lawyers, the Prosecution has oriented the entire process on their defendant, although there are 29 other suspects that are being trialed.

The defense says that it is unacceptable that the charges in this process were raised only against Ylli Pinari, by considering him as the main culprit for the tragedy.

Pinari’s lawyers also added that the “Meico” Company was not directed only by Pinari, but the decisions were taken in full accordance with the law, by a board of directors.

The defense also listed the chronological events of the Council of Minister’s decisions and the Ministry of Defense orders for the construction and functionality of the Gerdec ammunition dismantling plant.
