Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future People who are able to walk and do everything not always understand
those who don’t have this possibility. Not always understand the
sufferings of a person that cannot walk, and the smallest obstacle can
turn to a mountain.
Trifon Jazxhi, 53, lives at the Verlen village in Devoll. His son Ledi told the story of his father on uneflas.al. His father had an accident last year and the now is completely paralyzed. This made Ledi drop school. But if this wasn’t enough, both roads that surround his house are blocked by illegal constructions, and the 53-year-old cannot move from his house.
The man says that it is impossible for him to go to even have his ritual medical visit, and that he has raised his problem in all competent institutions, starting from the Commune of his village and even to the Prefecture, but nothing has been resolved for his family.
In the small room where the Trifon Jazxhi stays in his bad, you can notice the pain of his wife, Ferzile, and his son, Ledi, whose life changed after the tragic accident.
Like Trifon there are thousands of people who cannot move because are roads do not allow them. The paralyzed people feel imprisoned while their already difficult life becomes almost possible with the constructions that are built without taken in consideration their situation.
