The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, inaugurated the service
for issuing birth certificates from the General Consulate of Albania in
Milan.
This service will be offered to all consulate offices near our Embassy in Rome and at the Consulates of Bari and Milan.
The service was realized thanks to a cooperation between the Albanian and the Italian governments. The Albanian Foreign Minister said that the main objective of this reform is to improve and widen the consulate services, accelerate procedures and reducing fees with 50%.
Minister Bushat said that within 2016, part of the consulate services will be offered within an online platform by modernizing the service, increasing transparency, giving more access to information and cutting procedures.
