“Different Weekend” plants 200 new trees at the Farka Lake

I am very grateful to Arber Hajdari and the “Different Weekend” staff. Green areas and clean air is a human need. I like that that today we are addressing this need, which is, in fact, the screaming need of a city for more green spaces”, Mayor Erion Veliaj declared.

With less than one month before the planting season is over, the Tirana Municipality is about to reach the goal of planting 100,000 trees.

“We are very close to the record. I believe that thanks to the contribution given today by Fundjave Ndryshe, we will not only reach this goal, but we will also overcome it”, Veliaj declared.
