Peshkopia, a small northeastern town, was shocked months ago by a
sex-scandal started by a video that involved their Mayor. Today citizens
are ready to vote the new one.
Citizens value both candidates as Dibra citizens, respect them as honored citizens, although some don’t like the fact that one of the candidates has returned from Tirana just to seek the Mayoral post.
Works are undergoing in the town as part of the government’s plan “Urban Revival”, but the opposition representatives say it is just to influence voters.
Both parties, in the meanwhile, have gathered to Dibra with their highest representatives for the campaign.
The older Mayor is not mentioned, while some citizens say the blame goes only to him personally, and not for the party.
However, the only thing that all 13.000 citizens of Dibra ask is more jobs.
