Delvina has entered the map of lands that have been swept by the fire
this summer. The flames have destroyed great areas of pines and olives.
The fire approached to the city’s residences and the situation became alarming.
Firefighters from Delvina, Saranda and Gjirokaster joined to help keeping the fire far from the residences.
A second fire in Delvina broke up at the Vllahova village.
The difficult terrain did not allow the firefighters to put the fire out.
