The Ministry of Defense has warned all prefectures to take preventive measures for the emergency situation that is expected to be created by the upcoming cold.
The Ministry led by Olta Xhacka asked Mayors and central government institutions to take all the necessary measures for responding to possible emergency situations.
The ministry has asked the prefects to communicate with subcontracted companies, in order to make available all human and technical capacities, especially salt for covering icy roads.
The Ministry warns the police to cooperate especially with vehicles that transport school children, and also with the Electricity Distribution Corporate.
