The amendments were handed over one day before the parliamentary debate
that will be held in Parliament for the agreed draft law.
Parties agreed last Friday for every point of the draft law, besides two articles that foresaw a dug test for public officials.
The
Socialist Party say this is a ridiculous law that no European country
has. But the DP say it si related to the integrity of public officials.
The
draft that will be discussed this Thursday does not have the drug test
in it. For this reason, the Democratic Party handed over the amends of
their [ preliminary draft, aiming to focus their political debate to the
refusal of the majority.
Although the parties are prepared to debate with harsh tones, it is not expected to affect the finalization of the agreement.
