The leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Ilir Meta, said
that the tension between the government and the president should not be
misused to create conflicts or artificial constitutional crises.
Meta said that the cooperation spirit between institutions must prevail on the unnecessary mistrust that parties have with each other. With this message, Meta referred to the declaration released yesterday by minister Ermonela Felaj, who said that the President could be discharged for taking political sides.
“I trust we need a cooperation climate. Everything will go according the predictions made by the Constitution. We have no reason to be concerned that this initiative will be misused to create conflicts or artificial and unnecessary conflicts. Cooperation must prevail between institutions”, Meta said.
The Parliament Speaker said that the justice reform will be realized. He said that there progress of it will depend on the Commission of Venice, despite the fake alarms.
The SMI will start this March a long internal reevaluation process before the elections of 2017.
