In the last 24 hours, 84 positive cases of Covid-19 were registered in Albania. According to the Ministry of Health 4 people affected by Covid-19 have lost their lives.
Meanwhile, 796 tests were performed across the country to assess the infection and 84 people were confirmed positive for COVID-19.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 28 cases in Tirana, 12 cases in Shkodra and Durres, 7 cases in Kukes, 5 cases in Elbasan, 4 cases in Vlora, 3 cases in Korca, Mirdita, 2 cases in Berat, Kuçovë, from 1 case in Korçë, Kurbin, Kavaja, Kamëz, Divjakë, Malësi e Madhe.
Despite the efforts of doctors, unfortunately, in the two COVID hospitals, a 69-year-old man from Shkodra, a 71-year-old man from Durrës, a 77-year-old man and a 79-year-old man from Tirana with concomitant diseases, could not win the battle with the disease.
