The Socialist MPs, Arben Malaj and Andis Harasani, met a group of
socialists at the city of Vlore, where they discussed about the latest
political developments and their positions.
Malaj and Harasani criticized the absolute power of the Party leaders who have created they loyal group within the party.
“What brought the formal discipline of the 125 MPs that voted the Constitutional amends? How can you not understand that where there is no transparency, where you cannot discuss about problems and where you cannot take the opinion of the country’s best experts, there are only individual agreements, only between Berisha and Rama”, Malaj underlined.
Malaj also criticized the power concentration in a few hands, and when asked about opening a new party, he said that he had thought of opening a new party since 1991.
The MP Harasani also supported the idea of democracy within parties.
The Socialist MPs declared that Albania will receive a second refusal from Brussels, because of the politicians.
According to them, the loss of the candidate status will bring a big dispute in politics.
“In reality, the biggest responsability belongs to the majority, but the opposition cannot create an alibi for its boycott”, they added.
