The deadline for the payment of the delayed energy bills has been postponed until March 31st.
The decision was made public this Friday in a joint conference by the Minister of Energy and Industry, Damian Gjiknuri, and the administrator of the Distribution System Operator, Ardian Cela.
Minister Gjiknuri declared that the citizens have responded to the constant appeals for paying the energy bills, and that they are staying in queues to pay them. For this reason, they decided to postpone the deadline for another month.
“We have received 100 million USD of payments for the past three months”, Gjiknuri declared.
Administrator Cela declared that the postponement with 31 days is the last one.
