Dangerous toys for children

Toys are an important part of the psychological development of children,
and the main responsibility for choosing toys of quality is all up to
the parents.
If they are not careful, the children could play with toys that have dangerous chemicals that could bring serious health problems. Doctors state that the number of children with allergies and respiratory problems has increased. The dangers are several, and toys with suspicious substances are not ruled out.
“There are problems like anemia, fatigue, dystrophic muscles, allergies, asthma, thyroids, and even liver or kidney cancer. We haven’t had any specific case, because it is difficult to identify the origin of the diseases caused by toys. Parents should be careful in choosing the toys of a specific age for their children, and they should ask for more information from the vendors”, declared Eneida Xhumari, from the Health Promition.
PVC, which is a cancerous substance, was found in some plastic toys that are sold in open markets and toyshops. This substance causes cancer and many diseases such as thyroids, asthma, allergies and kidney problems.
The Albanian market remains uncontrolled and the selection of toys is up to the parents, who must read the substances of the toys before buying them.
