Dangerous road caused two accidents

A dangerous curve in the Elbasan-Librazhd road has caused two cars
falling into the water of the Shkumbin River. The passengers of one car
lost their lives, and drivers are now asking the government to intervene
and enlarge the road. But while the government stays silent, people pay
homage to God, as the only one who can guard them now.
Excessive speed, landslides and falling rocks have made this axis very dangerous. Road signs say that the allowed speed here is no more than 40 kmh, but no one respects this rule.
“The road doesn’t have the necessary technical conditions. The road is very difficult from here to Line”, one driver says.
After the first accidents which took the lives of the young couple, a police patrol is staying on site to prevent any other situation. In fact, they were able to save a second car that fell in the water one day after two people died on the same place. Road maintenance workers have also arrived to clean the area.
The people who experienced horrible moments appeal the government to intervene in these dangerous areas.
