DalipiL Basha to make transparency

Aldrin Dalipi, Socialist Councilor of the Municipal council reacted
after the Municipality declared that they would sue him for the report
he made one day ago.
In this report, Dalipi accused Mayor Lulzim Basha of having turned the Tirana Municipality into ‘the Municipality of his brother in law’. According to Dalipi, the tender for the city’s decoration was given to a company that has family connections with Mayor Basha.
“The suits of the ‘Municipality of the brother in law’ cannot intimidate the opposition at Tirana’s Municipal Council. Lulzim Basha should not be afraid of transparency and should not stay silent. He must explain which company benefited with the funds, with what procedures and tenders. We will ask transparency for all procedures related with the citizens’ taxes. Basha must know that the ‘Municipality of the brother in law’ will respond one day for all abuses”, Dalipi declared.
Dalipi explains that in the next Municipal Meeting they will ask Basha to respond for all the accusations made up to know regarding his relatives benefiting from the Municipality’s funds.
