The Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, said that the USA and Russia support the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, which is being held in Brussels.

He said that the two superpowers are also ready to accept the agreement reached between the two Balkan countries, according to Most.

Dacic gave these declarations after meeting with US officials in Washington, where he said that the current administration in the USA is taking Serbia’s interests in consideration.

“The situation has changed with the new administration, and I was told so by the National Security adviser. The foreign policy of the USA used to be based on an autopilot system, but things has changed”, Dacic said.

“For the first time after the election of Donald Trump as president, and especially after the appointing of Wess Mitchel as DAS, their approach is one that favors compromise. This is important for us, because it makes way for dialogue. And this is a clear message for Prishtina”, Dacic said.
