The Czech Foreign Ministry reacted regarding the killing of the two
Czech tourists in Prekal. Michael Lagronova, Spokesperson for this
ministry, declared that the case is being investigated as a crime.
“The case is being investigated as a crime near Shkoder, which attracts many tourists”, declared Michael Lagronova, adding that the relatives of the victims have been notified.
The Czech Consul in Tirana, Radka Calabkova, said for the Czech media, Lidovky.cz, that the tourists are victims of a violent crime that is an extraordinary case.
The Consul has been working to Tirana for the past three months, and she says that the investigations are undergoing.
Both officials remind the case of three Czech tourists who disappeared 14 years ago and who have not been found yet.
