The General Customs Directory announced that they have identified a law violation with excises in Korce.

“Atllas sh.p.k” company, with the status “fiscal depot”, has eliminated 1850 tons of a raw material for producing alcohol, without the presence of Customs authorities, and has launched to the Albanian market a total of 9300 tons of alcohol by avoiding the excise.

The fine mounts up to 118 million ALL, while the responsible Customs personnel has been suspended and investigations are undergoing.
