Criminality in Vlore halved

The crimes have reduced with 50%, while the number of arrested criminals has increased. The Vlore Police Director, Artan Cuku, says that the international operations for arresting people that are fleeing from the Interpol have also increased.

One of the main areas in which the Police has achieves success is war against drug traffic. Only the Vlore Police has seized 4120 kg of marijuana, which is 50% of the total quantity seized in the country.

During the tourist season, the population in Vlore increases and Police has prepared an action plan for avoiding problems. An efficient way against criminality is direct information given by people to the police, through the numbers that have been made public by the local authorities.
