Another covid-19 patient died in Albania. The Health Ministry announced that the 70 years old patient from Durrës could not cope after being infected with this disease, after originally suffering from acute leukemia.
Meanwhile, during the last 24 hours, 320 Covid19 tests have been performed, of which 53 positive cases have been confirmed, mainly new cases as well as contacts of previously confirmed positive cases.
The geographical distribution of positive cases in the last 24 hours is as follows: 26 in Tirana, 6 in Shkodra, 5 in Kruja, 4 in Vlora, 3 cases in Fier and Pogradec, 2 cases in Kukës and Lezha, 1 case in Durrës and Përmet.
There are currently 722 active people in our country with COVID19, mainly in Tirana, Shkodra, Durres.
“The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to all positively confirmed citizens with mild signs or asymptomatic to respect quarantine and to remain isolated. Violation of the rules by anyone will be considered a risk to the life and health of others”, stated the ministry.
