The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appealed today (23.12.2020) to citizens to limit contacts and avoid any unnecessary outings, wear a mask and take care of personal hygiene, to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The authorities added that out of 2210 tests in the last 24 hours, 503 citizens across the country have tested positive with Cov-Sars-2.
In the last 24 hours, 550 citizens have been cured, while the number of hospitalized patients continues to be stable.
Currently in 4 COVID hospitals, 337 patients are being treated, 24 in intensive therapy.
Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours have lost the battle with the disease 6 citizens with Sars-Cov2 positive in COVID hospitals: 1 man from Tirana, 1 woman from Librazhd, 1 man from Shkodra, 1 woman from Tropoja, 1 citizen from Kruja and 1 citizen from Tepelena, all aged 37 to 83 years.
