COVID19 update/ 275 new cases and 6 losses of life in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours in Albania, 1422 tests were performed, of which 275 citizens tested positive for the SARS-COV2 virus.
Meanwhile 114 citizens have recovered, bringing to 11,007 the number of people healed in the country since the beginning of the epidemic. Meanwhile six people are reported to have lost their lives due to the disease.
Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in these municipalities:
163 cases in Tirana, 30 in Korça, 15 in Shkodra, 12 in Durrës, 11 in Pogradec, 9 in Librazhd, 7 in Lezha, 3 cases each in Fier, Lushnje, Mat, from 2 cases each in Devoll, Elbasan, Vlora, Mirditë, Berat, and 1 case each in Has, Kavaja, Puka, Mallakastër, Kamëz, Gjirokastër, Përmet, Prrenjas, Kuçovë.
Currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi” 291 patients are being treated, 13 in intensive therapy of which 5 patients are intubated.
Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours, 6 citizens have lost their lives in 2 Covid hospitals: 61 years old from Korça, 67 years old from Pogradec, 69 years old from Lezha, 71 years old from Vlora, 73 years old from Fier and 74 years old from Tirana , with concomitant diseases. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
