During the last 24 hours in Albania (07.11.2020), 1927 coronavirus tests were performed, out of which 495 citizens tested positive for the SARS-COV2 virus.
8 citizens unfortunately lost their lives due to the disease. The Ministry of Health continues to call on the citizens to implement measures to prevent the spread of the SARS COV2 virus.
The authorities added that 253 positive cases were identified in the capital Tirana, 28 cases in Fier, 22 cases in Elbasan and Mirdita, 20 cases in Lezha, 16 cases in Korça and Lushnje, 13 cases in Shkodra and Kavaja, 12 cases in Durrës, 11 cases in Gjirokastra, 10 cases in Vlora and Tropoja, 9 cases in Librazhd, 7 cases in Kruja, 5 cases in Përmet, Saranda, Dibër, Devoll, 3 cases in Has, Tepelena, Kolonjë, 2 cases in Bulqiza, 1 case in Peqin, Pogradec.
In the last 24 hours, 141 citizens have been cured, while 352 patients are being treated in 3 COVID hospitals, 9 of whom are in intensive therapy.
Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours 8 citizens with Sars-Cov2 have lost their lives: a 57-year-old man and a 67-year-old man from Durrës, a 64-year-old man from Gramsh, a 67-year-old man from Kruja, a 76-year-old man from Elbasan. a 77-year-old woman from Gjirokastra, an 80-year-old man from Lushnja and an 80-year-old woman from Berat, with concomitant diseases.
