During the last 24 hours 1954 tests were performed, of which 489 citizens resulted positive with the SARS-COV2 virus, stated today (06.11.2020) the Albanian authorities.
Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours were identified in the following municipalities:
89 cases in Tirana, 41 cases in Korça, 38 cases in Lushnje, 31 cases in Kruja,
28 cases in Durrës, 26 cases in Gjirokastra, 24 cases in Fier,
18 cases each in Shkodra and Lezha, 16 cases in Kurbin, 14 cases in Malësi e Madhe, 13 cases in Vlora and Gramsh,
12 cases each in Tropoja, Saranda, Kuçova,
11 cases in Librazhd, 9 cases in Kukës and Pogradec, 8 cases in Kavaja,
6 cases in Elbasan, Berat, Mallakastër, Tepelena, 5 cases in Mat, 4 cases in Përmet, 3 cases in Devoll, Mirditë, Kolonjë, 2 cases in Skrapar, 1 case each in Has, Bulqiza, Peqin.
In the last 24 hours, 165 citizens have recovered, bringing the number of the haled to 11,861 since the beginning of the epidemic.
In 3 COVID hospitals, 350 patients are beng treated, 9 in intensive therapy.
Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours have lost the battle with the disease 6 citizens: a 66-year-old woman from Durrës, a 70-year-old man from Kukës, two 75-year-olds from Tirana, a 79-year-old Elbasan and an 81-year-old from Kavaja, with concomitant illness.
