In the last 24 hours, 121 citizens suspected of being affected by Covid-19 were tested and 4 of them tested positive, respectively 2 citizens in Tirana, 1 in Kamza and 1 in Shkodra. Meanwhile 4 citizens are cured of the decease.
Dr. Eugena Tomini from the Institute of Public Health provided the details:
“The epidemiological situation in the country is stable based on the identification of cases so far and their epidemiological investigation.
“Today is the lowest number of daily cases in the last 8 weeks. In the last 24 hours, 121 citizens suspected of being affected by Covid-19 were tested and 4 citizens tested positive, respectively 2 citizens in Tirana, 1 in Kamza and 1 in Shkodra. Meanwhile 4 citizens are cured.
“To date, 872 citizens across the country have tested positive for COVID-19, while 654 have recovered, or 75% of all affected.
“There are currently 187 actively ill persons with COVID19 throughout the country, mainly in Tirana, Kruja, Shkodra, Kamza. The situation in hospitals is stable. The 2 COVID hospitals have 28 patients and only 3 of them are in intensive care. We have not had any loss of life for more than 10 days.”
