The Ministry of Health has announced that in the last 24 hours 133 new cases have been recorded and 4 patients lost their life as a result of Covid-19.
75 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours by Covid-19, bringing the total number of recovered to 5214.
The Ministry of Health adds:
“The epidemiological situation in the country in the last week was stable, similar to the levels of a week ago.
“During the last 24 hours in our country, 820 tests have been performed to assess the SARS COV2 virus, and 133 people have been confirmed positive with COVID-19.
“The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 68 cases in Tirana, 10 in Elbasan, 9 in Durres, 7 in Lezha, 6 in Berat, 5 cases in Kruja, Fier, 4 in Korca, 3 cases in Kukes, Gjirokastra, from 2 cases in Kurbin, Kavaja, Vlora, Tropoja, Kuçova, from 1 case in Shkodra, Devoll, Pogradec.
“75 citizens have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of recovered to 5214 since the beginning of the epidemic.
“Currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and ‘Shefqet Ndroqi’ hospital are being treated 180 confirmed patients positive with COVID-19, 17 of which in intensive therapy”.
