The Albanian health authorities said today (13.11.2020) that in the last 24 hours 2,508 tests were performed, of which 490 citizens tested positive for the SARS COV2 virus.
Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in the following municipalities:
203 cases in Tirana, 31 cases in Fier, Gjirokastra, 27 cases in Shkodra, Lezha, 25 in Berat, 22 in Korca, 19 in Elbasan, 13 in Lushnje, 12 in Kukes, 11 in Kavaja, 9 cases each in Gramsh , Vlora, 7 cases each in Kurbin, Kuçovë, 6 in Malësi e Madhe, 5 in Saranda, 4 cases each in Mirditë, Tropojë, Tepelena, 3 cases each in Kolonjë, Mallakastër, 2 cases each in Skrapar, Krujë, Durrës, Përmet .
In the last 24 hours 93 citizens have recovered, bringing the number of healed to 12,667 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Currently in 3 COVID hospitals, 378 patients are being treated, 16 of whom are in intensive care.
Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours, 7 citizens have lost their lives in COVID hospitals: a 47-year-old woman from Vlora; a 63-year-old man, a 70-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman from Tirana; a 70-year-old man and a 71-year-old from Durrës; an 83-year-old woman from Elbasan.
