CoVid-19 update/ 712 affected in the country as 34 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours

34 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, 18 of which in Kruja, 6 in Kukës, these latter all contacts of yesterday’s case, 4 cases in Tirana related to the virus hearth in the penitentiary institution, 2 cases in Kurbin, 1 case in Lushnje, 1 case in Berat and 1 case imported from Greece, identified during the quarantine isolation in Përmet, who is currently being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tirana.

Genta Qirjako from the Institute of Public Health gave the details:

“We inform you about the update of the epidemiological situation of COVID-19 in our country.
In the last 24 hours, 247 people suspected of COVID-19 have been tested, of which 34 positive cases were confirmed.
Although there is a relatively high number of cases today, most of them are asymptomatic, i.e. without being ill or showing signs of the disease. These are mainly contacts of previous positive cases. The epidemiological investigation continues in the hearth of Kruja, where 18 cases have been discovered, all of which are contacts of cases discovered a few days ago,
