COVID-19 update: 705 new cases and 17 losses of life in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection informed about the situation of COVID19 saying that in the last 24 hours in the country (02.12.2020), 2,186 tests were performed, of which 705 citizens tested positive.

Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in these municipalities: 386 in Tirana, 43 cases in Gjirokastra, 28 cases in Korca, 27 cases in Vlora, 24 cases in Fier, 23 cases in Kruja, 21 cases in Shkodra, 20 cases in Berat, 18 cases in Librazhd, 16 cases in Elbasan, 14 cases in Lushnje, 10 cases in Kuçova, 8 cases in Kavaja, 7 cases in Kolonjë, 6 cases in Durrës, 5 cases each in Devoll, Mirdita, Mat, Përmet, Tepelena, Peqin, Malësi e Madhe, 4 cases in Mallakastër, 3 cases in Lezha, Has, Delvinë, Gramsh, 2 cases in Dibër and 1 case in Pogradec.

In the last 24 hours, 528 citizens have recovered, while in 4 COVID hospitals 484 patients are being treated, 38 in intensive therapy.

Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours 17 citizens have lost their lives: 5 citizens from Durrës, 4 citizens from Tirana, 2 citizens from Vlora, 1 citizen from Saranda, 1 citizen from Gjirokastra, 1 citizen from Fieri, 1 citizen from Kavaja, 1 citizen from Lezha, 1 citizen from Cërriku. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased.
