The Health Ministry announced that in the last 24 hours 1 citizen has lost his life from COVID-19, while the total number of those affected has reached 634.
From the tracking of contacts in Kruja,18 other positive cases have resulted, while the other cases are 3 in Tirana, 2 in Elbasan, 1 case in Shkodra and 1 case in Kurbin.
Prof. Mira Rakacolli gave the details:
“During the last 24 hours, 252 people suspected of COVID-19 have been tested, of which 25 new positive cases with COVID19 were confirmed.
“The epidemiological investigation continues and after tracking the contacts in Kruja 18 new positive cases were confirmed there, while the other cases are 3 in Tirana, 2 cases in Elbasan, 1 case in Shkodra, 1 case in Kurbin.
“So far, 6,669 suspected cases have been tested and positive for COVID-19, 634 cases have been confirmed.
In the last 24 hours, a 71-year-old patient died at the “Shefqet Ndroqi” hospital, who had been intubated for two weeks and was suffering from some concomitant diseases”.
