For several days there has been a relative daily increase in COVID cases in Albania.
Currently the number of actively infected is 232. Out of 3348 tests, 34 citizens tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, of which 7 cases were detected in Tirana, 5 in Saranda, 3 cases each in Elbasan and Kukës, 2 cases each in Has, Berat, Pogradec, Poliçan, Konispol, and 1 case each in Durrës, Fier, Korçë, Lezhë, Shijak, Skrapar.
5 patients are receiving treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, while during the last 24 hours no losses of life have been registered.
12 citizens have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of recovered 130,109 since the beginning of the epidemic.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to citizens to be vaccinated to protect themselves from Covid-19, in any health center or vaccination point in the country.
Authorities appeal to citizens to profit from the open vaccination days until Sunday, when they can get vaccinated without restriction, if they are over 18 years old.
