In the last 24 hours in Albania, 1402 Covid-19 tests were performed, of which 289 citizens resulted positive SARS-COV2.
Meanwhile, the ministry announces that 93 citizens have been cured, bringing to 9957 the number of people cured in the country since the beginning of the epidemic.
Positive cases in the last 24 hours have been identified in these municipalities:
113 cases in Tirana,
34 cases in Fier,
23 cases in Durrës,
19 cases in Vlora,
16 cases in Korça,
12 cases each in Shkodra, Elbasan,
10 cases in Kruja,
9 cases in Lezha,
6 cases in Berat,
5 cases each in Kurbin, Pogradec, Dibër,
4 cases in Kuçova,
3 cases in Patos,
2 cases each in Kavaja, Lushnje, Malësi e Madhe, Klos,
1 case each in Mallakastër, Librazhd, Delvinë, Tepelena, Peqin.
Currently, 255 patients are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi”, 21 of which are in intensive care.
In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of doctors, have unfortunately lost the battle with COVID19 a 37-year-old man from Korça without concomitant diseases, a 52-year-old woman from Mirdita, an 81-year-old man from Tirana and an 85-year-old man from Fier.
