It’s risen to 584 the number of affected by Covid-19 in Albania as 22 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, while there are 327 patients recovered from the decease.
Dr. Eugena Tomini from the Institute of Public Health provided details:
“In the last 24 hours 233 people suspected of having COVID-19 were tested. From the confirmation reports 22 positive cases with COVID19 were confirmed.
“Of the new cases, 3 are in Shkodra, 2 cases in Tirana. Meanwhile continues the epidemiological investigation and tracking of contacts in the virus hearth of Kruja where 5 people have tested positive and in Kurbin where we have 12 new cases.
“So far, 5,775 suspected cases have been tested and of these, 584 cases have been confirmed positive.
In the last 24 hours, 13 other patients have been added to the list of healed, bringing the number of those cured from COVID-19 to 327.
“Currently in our country there are 231 actively infected people, while 26 citizens have lost the battle with this disease despite the efforts of medical staff.
“In the two COVID hospitals are currently being treated 44 patients”.
