CoVid-19 update/ 17 new cases, rises to 820 number of affected

It is risen to 820 the number of Covid-19 affected in the country as 17 new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. 11 were contacts of those affected earlier.
9 of the new cases are in Tirana, 5 in Kruja and 3 in a virus hearth family in Kamza. There are currently 219 active individuals with COVID19.
Dr. Albana Fico from the Institute of Public Health gave the details:
“The epidemiological situation is being closely monitored by all health structures. In this situation of easing the measures, the vigilance for tracking, testing and timely identification of suspected COVID19 cases and their contacts, has increased.
“During the last 24 hours, 270 tests were performed on COVID-19 suspected persons and 17 of them were positive cases.
“11 of the affected were contacts of previous positive cases with COVID19, while for 6 newly affected there is an ongoing epidemiological investigation.
“There are currently 219 active individuals with COVID19.”
