The Ministry of Health said today (August 26, 2020) that during the last 24 hours, 168 people have been infected throughout Albania, while four patients have lost their lives to Covid-19.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 76 cases in Tirana, 15 cases in Lezha, 13 cases in Kruja, 7 cases in Korca, 6 cases in Kavaja, 5 cases in Shkodra, Durres, Kurbin, Lushnje, 4 cases in Fier , Elbasan, Berat, Gjirokastra, 2 cases in Vlora, Kamza, Selenica, Klos and 1 case each in Devoll, Mirdita, Librazhd, Mat, Pogradec, Malësi e Madhe, Kolonjë.
According to the Ministry of Health, during the last 24 hours, 4 people lost their lives.
Despite the efforts of doctors, in the two COVID hospitals, could not win the battle with the disease a 55-year-old woman from Tirana, a 62-year-old man from Lezha, a 63-year-old man from Librazhd, and an 85-year-old man from Elbasan, who had concomitant diseases. Authorities offered their condolences to the families of the deceased.
