Another 147 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in Albania.
The Ministry of Health informed today (08.09.2020) that during the last 24 hours two citizens have lost their lives as a result of Covid-19, who had long been suffering from the symptoms of the virus.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 67 cases in Tirana, 12 cases in Lezha, 11 cases in Berat, 10 cases in Shkodra, 9 cases in Fier, 7 cases in Kruja and Korca, 5 cases in Kamza, 4 cases each in Kavaja and Vlora, 2 cases in Kurbin, Elbasan, Lushnje, Gjirokastra, 1 case in Durrës, Vau i Dejës, Selenica.
Despite the efforts of doctors and nurses in the two COVID hospitals, the battle with this dangerous virus has not been won by two citizens, a 59-year-old man from Tirana and a 73-year-old man from Elbasan. Authorities expressed their condolences to their families.
