CoVid-19 udate/ Only 8 new cases, the number of affected rises to 803

8 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours out of 140 tests performed.
5 of these were in Tirana, 2 in Elbasan and one in Durrës.

So far, 31 patients have lost the battle with this virus.

“For all detected cases, the epidemiological investigation continues. Most of the affected are being followed by the family doctor or are otherwise asymptomatic, while currently in two COVID hospitals, in the infectious disease hospital and the hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi”, the condition is stable. Currently 34 patients are hospitalized and only 7 of them are in intensive care.

“As you are aware, as of today, a further easing of austerity measures has begun, with an addition of ‘green areas’, allowing the intercity taxi service with two passengers of the same family, and facilitating the repatriations of those who live in ‘red area’ countries, who will self-quarantine upon arrival”, said among other things the announcement of the Institute of Public Health.
