During the last 24 hours throughout Albania 119 people have tested positive for Covid-19.
Unfortunately a 60-year-old man from Durrës and an 80-year-old woman from Korça lost the battle with the disease. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, 22 people have recovered.
According to the Ministry of Health during the last 24 hours 501 tests have been performed while 119 people have been confirmed positive with COVID-19.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 54 cases in Tirana, 10 cases in Kamza, 7 cases in Elbasan and Kukes, 6 cases in Korca, 5 cases in Durres and Shkodra, 4 cases in Fier and Kavaja, 3 cases in Lezha, Mirdita, from 2 cases in Mat, Kurbin and Rrogozhina, 1 case in Has, Maliq, Saranda, Shijak and Vlora.
Currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi” hospital are being treated 117 confirmed patients positive with COVID-19, 16 of which in intensive therapy, stated the helath authorities.
