The government has announced that the repatriation of Albanian citizens in the United States will be provided through a New York-Rome-Tirana flight route.
Departure is set on April 29th in the afternoon from JFK Airport, through the Alitalia lines (commercial flight) that arrives in Rome on April 30. The next flight to Tirana via Air Albania (repatriation flight) arrives in Tirana on April 30 in the evening, and from there the passengers will be immediately directed to the hotels in Albania where they’ll hold their quarantine period.
Taking into account your reports on the difficulty of tickets booking, as well as to make the procedure the easiest possible, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Washington DC are working intensively to enable the delivery of this trip through an operator and in a single package.
This package will include a trip from New York to Albania, including two weeks of hotel quarantine.
Many Albanians will need to wait for domestic tickets to the USA to arrive at JFK airport on time. To make reservations, (number of seats is limited) please contact as soon as possible with:
