The Health Ministry announced today (31.07.20) that 79 new cases of coronavirus and 3 deaths were registered in the last 24 hours.
A 56-year-old and a 76-year-old man from Tirana with some other diseases, as well as a 90-year-old from Elbasan could not win the battle with the disease.
Currently 115 patients are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and the “Shefqet Ndroqi” Hospital, 16 of which are in intensive care.
In the last 24 hours, 500 tests were performed, of which 79 positive cases have been confirmed.
The geographical distribution of cases is as follows: 56 cases in Tirana, 6 cases in Shkodra, Kruja, 3 cases in Fier, Lushnje, and 1 case each in Elbasan, Kavaja, Vlora, Kamza, Divjaka.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection recommends every citizen to show care for the observance of the rules: Keeping the social distance at least 1.5 meters; Wear mask indoors and wherever you can not keep your distance, as well as maintain personal and collective hygiene.
